Our story · Η ιστορία μας

A family home that became a taverna.

A liakoto is the sun-facing veranda of a traditional Cypriot house.

LIAKOTO lives in the Hatzikyriakou family home on Grigori Afxentiou Street. Christodoulos and Kaletou raised seven children here from 1950; the house got electricity in 1956.

Their son Konstantinos (Dinos) Hatzikyriakou, born 1961, turned the family home into a taverna with traditional character.
